Journal Marine Services (JMS) invites specialists who can assess the scientific reporting and real-world delivery of community service. Reviewer expertise may include maritime operations, coastal development, adult education, participatory evaluation, occupational safety, fisheries outreach, maritime engineering, and applied technology.
Before publication, insert only reviewers who agreed to serve JMS in the indicated year. Each entry must state the reviewer's real full name, verified institution, and country. A reviewer associated with EJMI is not automatically a JMS reviewer.
Reviewers are appointed case by case according to experience, independence, available time, and the manuscript's methods and topic. The handling editor evaluates potential conflicts of interest before assignments are confirmed. Reports should examine the need identified by the community, the adequacy of implementation records, ethical safeguards, the reliability of outcome evidence, and the proportionality of conclusions.
An annual acknowledgment of reviewers must not disclose which reviewer evaluated any particular manuscript under JMS's double-anonymous procedure. The publicly listed reviewers may differ from those appointed to individual articles.
For procedural details, consult the Peer Review Process and Editorial Independence Policy.
