Additional Indexing and Discovery Services

JMS continues to develop its bibliographic visibility and metadata accessibility through scholarly discovery and indexing services. Additional services will be listed when JMS-specific coverage or registration has been independently verified.

Information on this page is periodically reviewed to ensure that all links and indexing claims remain accurate and verifiable.

Discoverability of JMS Publications

Journal Marine Services (JMS) maintains bibliographic information to support accurate discovery, citation, and retrieval of community-service scholarship. Discovery by a general web search engine is not necessarily equivalent to formal journal indexing or evaluation.

Journal Records

  • GARUDA (Garba Rujukan Digital): Journal Marine Services — journal record.
  • ISSN registration: the official identifiers are P-ISSN 3163-8643 and E-ISSN 3163-866X; confirm the associated title and publication data through the official registry.
  • Article-level DOI records: JMS articles may display the DOI prefix 10.62391/jms; verify that each individual DOI is registered and resolves correctly before representing DOI assignment as complete.

Applications and Evaluations

Participation in an application process for DOAJ or Index Copernicus International must not be labeled "indexed" or "accepted" without an official positive decision and an active journal listing. The publisher's 2026 report documents DOAJ application information and Index Copernicus questionnaire work, not confirmed inclusion.

Quality Assurance

The editorial office should routinely verify indexing URLs, article titles, author lists, abstracts, publication dates, licenses, and DOI registrations. Service logos should be linked to the journal's own verifiable profile and should not imply endorsement. Non-verified impact-factor badges and ranking claims should not be displayed.
