Publication Fees

Journal Marine Services (JMS) currently operates without mandatory charges to authors. According to the publisher's 2026 journal-indexing documentation, the journal does not charge for manuscript submission, initial editorial assessment, peer review, article processing, final publication, page length, or color figures.

Because no mandatory author fees are applied, fee waivers and reductions are not applicable. Publishing decisions depend only on journal policies and editorial assessment and are not influenced by an author's financial resources.

Authors may arrange optional third-party language assistance independently if they wish, but JMS does not require authors to buy any external editing service as a condition of submission or acceptance. Any subsequent change to the fee policy must be announced publicly before it takes effect and must be reflected in the OJS submission information.
