DOI, Metadata and ORCID Policy
Persistent Identifiers
Journal Marine Inside (EJMI) assigns article-level persistent identifiers in accordance with its DOI registration arrangements and maintains stable landing pages for published articles. The DOI displayed on the PDF, article landing page, citation recommendation, and registered metadata must be identical and resolve to the intended record.
Metadata Accuracy
Before publication, EJMI verifies the approved article title, complete author order, institutional affiliations, country information, corresponding author, abstract, keywords, journal and issue identifiers, publication dates, article page range or article number, references, and license information. Editorial history dates must reflect actual events in the OJS record.
Where the journal deposits metadata with Crossref or another registration agency, EJMI maintains the record when errors are discovered, article landing pages move, or a correction or retraction is published. Metadata changes should be documented and must not conceal the article's publication history.
ORCID
Corresponding authors are requested to provide a valid ORCID iD at submission; ORCID registration is encouraged for all co-authors. Author identifiers must correspond to the correct person. ORCID or Scopus Author IDs should not be copied between different individuals.
Corrections
Requests concerning bibliographic metadata may be submitted to p3m@poltekpel-banten.ac.id. EJMI reviews requested changes against the verified publication record and updates relevant article and registration metadata when appropriate.
