Scholarly Discovery and Indexing
Journal Marine Inside (EJMI) promotes discoverability through accurate article metadata, persistent article identifiers, structured abstracts and references, and interoperable online journal records.
The journal distinguishes between formal database inclusion, DOI registration, search-engine discoverability, and catalogue records. These are different services and are not presented as equivalent accreditation or indexing achievements.
Verified Records
EJMI publishes its indexing and abstracting records only when the editorial office can verify that the record refers to Journal Marine Inside, rather than merely to a database homepage. The journal is listed in the SINTA journal profile and in the GARUDA journal database. Readers should consult these journal-specific records for current information, rather than rely on copied numerical ratings or unverified badges.
Crossref DOI registration, if used for an article, identifies and links the publication; it does not by itself mean that the journal is indexed by a selective bibliographic database. Likewise, discovery in Google Scholar or a library catalogue should not be described as acceptance by DOAJ, Scopus, or Web of Science.
Applications and Changes of Status
Indexation applications and annual evaluations are not the same as confirmed acceptance. EJMI does not claim inclusion in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) or Index Copernicus International (ICI Journals Master List) on the basis of a submitted application or evaluation questionnaire alone. Verified inclusion and its effective date may be added after official confirmation.
