Long-Term Access and Preservation

Journal Marine Inside (EJMI) recognizes that permanent scholarly access requires more than making articles available on its website. The publisher is responsible for maintaining authoritative article files, bibliographic metadata, and recoverable copies of editorial and published records, subject to confidentiality and applicable law.

Preservation Measures

The journal's preservation plan includes periodic backups of published content and metadata, checks of file and link accessibility, controlled access to backup copies, and the ability to restore journal content after a technical disruption. DOI metadata and article landing-page URLs should be maintained when the publishing platform or web address changes.

Third-Party Preservation Services

Participation in an external preservation network—such as PKP Preservation Network, LOCKSS, or CLOCKSS—will only be listed after EJMI has verified enrollment, the relevant technical configuration, and evidence that its content is actually being preserved. Merely using OJS does not establish membership in any of these networks.

Continuity and Corrections

Published articles and formal notices of correction or retraction should remain discoverable and linked as part of the scholarly record. EJMI will take reasonable measures to maintain access during platform upgrades, hosting changes, or other interruptions.
